Katie Cornog

I use watercolor painting to capture the feelings invoked by a place, time or object. I am drawn by color and patterns of light to create compositions that I hope will convey to the viewer my love of the visual world. I have been painting with intent for about seven years after leaving a long career as a computer engineer. In that career I also focussed on images and vision, but from a mathematical point of view. I have studied with Gary Tucker, Marion Hall, Marjorie Glick and Karen Keough. I am a member of the Boston North Artists group and have exhibited in many group shows at Newburyport Art Association, Concord Arts, and Arlington Center for the Arts.
