Lian Quan Zhen

Our “Color Pouring and Blending” workshop with Lian Quan Zhen was impressive because of his techniques and teaching ability. He had us mask out the yellow pedals of a sun flower and then spray the paper adding the 3 primary colors, mixing with his finger or blowing the colors or using a brush. Then we went in to define the flowers and leaves. His second project was a landscape with rocks and running water. Again we masked areas before spraying the paper and adding colors.
