Having grown up with the National Gallery of Art in my back yard, I’ve had an interest in painting from an early age. I spent most of my adult life working as an architect, which didn’t allow much spare time to paint. Now that my professional activities are reduced, I have more time to paint.
I’m drawn to subjects, mostly landscapes, that combine natural and man made elements. I’m constantly learning how to capture the essence of places that inspire me. It’s a challenge, but that’s what keeps me at it.
I’m an Associate Member of the New England Watercolor Society and have exhibited in several of their gallery shows, as well as being part of group shows at other venues.
