Pablo Picasso famously said, “One cannot truly follow the creative process except through a series.” And painting in a series is what he did, as did Claude Monet (think Haystacks, Lily Pads, & Rouen Cathedral) and Japanese painter Hokusai (Mount Fuji paintings).
