DESCRIPTION:T U R N E R  E X H I B I Tin Mystic\, Connecticut!\nJoin Gitty on a daytrip to see the fabulous William Turner (1775 -1851) exhibit in Mystic\, CT – the only place in the US where this special collection of 97 paintings will be exhibited. The exhibition spans the entirety of Turner’s long career and is focusing on his watercolors. This exhibition is organized in cooperation with the Tate Gallery in London. It is daily open from 9am – 5pm until February 23\, 2020.\n \n \nOur itinerary:\nSaturday\, February 1\, 2020: 8:40am Amtrak train from South StationTrain ride is 1hr24min\, arriving 10:04 in Mystic15 minute walk from train station to Mystic Seaport Museum or taking an UberEnjoy exhibit there\, lunch\, museum; available time: 4.5hrsTrain back from Mystic to Boston South Station at 3:46pm\, arriving at 5:22pm Tickets each way are $30\, and entrance is $28.95 ($26.96 for 65+)\,so overall cost is $88.95 If you are interested in joining Gitty on that day\, then 1. book your train tickets and2. let her know that you are joining her per email at bschacher1@yahoo.com

SUMMARY:Eudes Correia In-Person Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Eudes Correia\n\nSeptember 10 – 13\, 2019          4-day workshop\n\nThis was a very successful workshop by any standards! Eudes Correia dazzled us with spot-on watercolor painting demos of portraits and figures caught in their daily life and painted with such an amazing repertoire of all the details in the faces and at the same time with such wild and loose expressions of the whole painting!\n\nHe also took the time to teach us his little painting secrets and we could observe how much fun he had to explore new territory – yet the outcome was always perfect!  It is rare to see in workshops that all the artist’s paintings work out and are fabulous – but he pulled it off!\n\nWe were very pleased having had Eudes Correia here in Newton for his first US workshop and we have lot of requests by the workshop participants to bring him back soon.
