  WHEN: November 14th, 15th & 16th, 2025 – 9am to 4pm OPEN TO MEMBERS & NON-MEMBERS HOSTED BY: New England Watercolor Society at The Mosesian Center for the Arts 321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472 (map) Workshop Description: During her workshop, Janine will spend time with each student to determine which habits are being repeated and actually hindering progress; she will then use target exercises to change these unwanted habits and correct weaknesses. Students will then put these new habits to the test by painting full paintings and see how progress has evolved. Yes, correcting habits can occur that fast! “My role as an artist is to create art that touches people and makes them consider different positions on life. I feel that technique is over-rated and “feeling” in a painting is under-rated. However, when both are combined the effect is so much stronger.
