‘ Bright sunlight – the Sargent way’

This Zoom demonstration from the British watercolor  artist and teacher Jason Skill, is a must for any fans of John Singer Sargent.  Thought by many to be one of the greatest watercolour painters in history, Sargent  is famous for his ability to captured the look and feel of bright sunlight in spontaneous, vigorous artworks.  Notoriously difficult to imitate, Sargents methods have proved  baffling to most watercolourists… until now.  Jason, believes he has unlocked the core approaches to colour and paint used by the master,  which he will be sharing with you at this session.  The demonstration will focus of the creation of a painting, made in the Sargent style, while Jason explains ,stage by stage, the reasoning behind his methods which are based on years of study and extensive experimentation. This promises to be an eye opening  event.
