Figure Drawing with Instructor Daniel Panero Bertucci

Five Online classes on Thursday Evenings from 7:00-8:00pm November 2, 9, 16, 30, and December 7. (No class on Thanksgiving.) To apply for the workshop, click HERE.                               The figure drawing course will focus on the fundamental principles of figure drawing and painting, providing students with useful techniques for live drawing sessions. Participants will review both traditional academic methods for rendering the human figure and more freeform, expressive approaches to drawing. They will also explore techniques for depicting three-dimensionality using both a single tone and a full spectrum of colors. Further emphasis will be placed on capturing the entire figure in various poses as well as sketching individual body parts, while also allocating time to the art of portrait painting. Participants will b provided with information on resources and materials for farther study and growth as well as support and guidance for the own artwork. There will be opportunities for sharing artwork and critiques.
