Painting Waterscapes: Sparkle and Shine

Water is a tantalizing subject for artists. We are drawn intuitively to bodies of water, yet it is an elusive substance, at times transparent, translucent, reflective, or fractured. We’ll examine various water surfaces and then pay particular attention to the characteristics of calm, undulating bodies of water and the sparkles of light reflected from streams.
